O.D.L.I. (Organizzazione
per la Diffusione della lingua Italiana) is a non- profit
organization dedicated to the development of Italian language and
culture programs for K-12th grade students in South Florida. Italian
language and culture programs have been established in the public and
private schools of Miami Dade, Broward, Hillsborough, Collier Counties.
Adult classes are offered both in Miami and Weston.

Movie Night

SEEKING TEACHERS OF ITALIAN: O.D.L.I. seeks dynamic and qualified
individuals, with experience in the teaching of Italian as a second
language to children, young adults K-12, and adults. These positions
will be available in Dade and Broward, full time or part time.
Requisites: U.S. residency and adequate knowledge of the English

Once a month O.D.L.I..is proud to offer free Italian Cinema at
the Center for Italian Studies. After the movie, we hold a discussion
about the film and its topic with experts on Italian Cinema. You can
stop by the Center for more information or send us your e-mail
address. Three days before the Movie
Night you will receive our locandina
(theater bill) with information regarding the movie, its
specifications and the plot summary.

Registration
for fall courses is open!
ODLI
provides a wide variety of course offerings ranging from basic
communication to specialized courses for traveling, business and
literature.
O.D.L.I.
offers Italian Language and Culture classes for adults and
children, small groups or private at the Center for Italian Studies in
Coral Gables and at Weston Community Center in Weston.

EXCHANGE STUDENT TRIP
(MIAMI, Fl. - May
26, 2006) As a result of a recent educational trip to Florida
organized by the Education Office of the Consulate General of Italy in
Miami and a delegation of Italian School Administrators and Educators,
the Region of Lombardia in Italy, the Regional Educational Research
Institute, IRRE Lombardia - and the public schools: Istituto K-8 "G.
Carducci" of San Vittore Olona, Istituto K-8 "Moro" of
Canegrate and Maggiolini High School (9-13) of Parabiago have invited the
elementary, middle and high school students who attend the Italian
Language and Culture programs of Miami's public and private schools, to
participate in an Exchange Student Program Trip in the northwestern
region of Lombardia, from June 6 to June 12, 2006. Read
